Taken For Granted

In this lifetime we take so much for granted. Time being one of the things we take for granted the most. Our days are not promised. We also take people for granted. Specifically, those who have been given to us to encourage us, motivate us and edge us on in this lifetime. Reflect today. What should you be doing that you think you have all the time in the world to get done? Who have you taken for granted that you owe an apology to for words you've said out of anger or actions from you that negated a separation? Let the meditation of your heart and the words out of your mouth be acceptable to who it is most important to. Yesterday is forgotten, the future we do not control, but today is another opportunity to get things in order. I challenge not just myself but anyone who reads this, to ask for forgiveness from someone you have wronged and then forgive yourself and let the little things go. Cherish time and discontinue taking for granted the things which do have value!{jcomments on}

New Year! New Season

{jcomments on}So long 2012! It has been nice knowing you. Thank you for all the hardships, disappointments, heartaches, struggles and challenges that you brought along with you to teach me lessons God wanted me to learn. Thank you for the good times, the protection and prevention of my safety that you also carried in with you. Thank you for preserved friends, family members and bringing me new understandings and a greater degree of wisdom. Thank you for the new babies in my family. Thank you for keeping my family. God you sent all this to me in 2012. I thank you because without it I would not have an abundance of praise to carry into 2013. How could I learn to be even more grateful without being taught about forgiveness and love through penning my (3rd) novel, "NO GRACE WITHOUT MERCY."

We say we forgive, but do we really? If you find yourself saying, "I forgive, but I don't forget...." Guess what. You do not forgive. When God says HE forgives us, he says, "I remember your sins no more." Now that's forgetting.
